Overview
Even with the time-out set up correctly, I still had performance issues due to the excessive paging caused by having both the OMS and OMR on the same 32-bit machine.
Investigation
The general performance problem was that the responsiveness of the OMS console was very slow. I suspected that it was due to paging issues.
I did some investigations using the
vmstat
with the following results:
